Kevin Kruglet, of Tadpole Pedicabs, rides his pedicab near CSU's campus on May 7, 2015. Tadpole Pedicabs are now offering rides to help Pokemon GO players catch creatures.

When you've got to catch 'em all, sometimes you need to get creative.

And that's exactly what people in Fort Collins are doing.

As the craze of "Pokemon Go" — a Nintendo and Pokemon Co. smartphone app that combines geocaching and gaming — continues to grow, a local business owner says he's seen it reach into his realm.

Andrew Victora, who started Tadpole Pedicabs last January, says the game's users have been flocking to his little four-cab business, taking "'Pokemon Go'" tours that have lasted up to an hour and a half.

CRAZE:  'Pokemon Go' catches 'em all in Fort Collins

"People have been directing our drivers into high-density areas where PokeStops (designated real-world spots where players can acquire virtual items for the game) are," Victora said. "The good part is, we're moving fast enough where we can get to destinations and slow enough where they can grab Pokemon on the side of the road."

"And obviously we're doing all the driving, so they can focus on hunting down all the rare ones that pop up on their tracking menu," Victora said. "(I had someone say) they were able to get three times as many Pokemon and hatch twice as many eggs as when they were just walking."

Players started to utilize Tadpole Pedicabs last weekend and the business has taken people on about 15 "'Pokemon Go' tours," Victora said, adding that he's running a special rate for tours right now: $20 for an hour ride instead of the usual $35.

While drivers will be cruising high-traffic "Pokemon Go" areas like Old Town and City Park — they'll also be at the "Pokemon Go" meetup in Spring Canyon Park this Thursday — Victora said you can call the pedicab company at 970-300-3332 to request a ride.
