ORIGINAL STORY: Emergency crews from across Northern Colorado are responding to reports of a train derailment east of Fort Collins.

Initial reports indicate approximately six cars have derailed in the area of Bethke Elementary School in Timnath, 5100 School House Dr. The cars appear to have been hauling grain, and Poudre Fire Authority crews are reporting it does not appear to be a hazardous materials risk.

There do not appear to be any injuries.

Additional details were not immediately available.

A reporter and photographer are en route to the scene. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
