The city of Fort Collins has increased the maximum funding available through its Homebuyer Assistance program from $10,000 to $15,000 per household.

The program assists low and moderate-income first-time homebuyers with the gap financing needed to purchase a home. Income-eligible households may receive a deferred loan to cover down-payment and closing costs that does not have to be repaid until the home is sold or is no longer the primary residence.
