Public invited to GOCO listening tour

Great Outdoors Colorado, or GOCO, will collect input for its 2015 strategic plan during an event Aug. 13 in Fort Collins. The event will be take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the courthouse office building at 200 W. Oak St.

GOCO invests state lottery revenues in outdoor recreation, land conservation and wildlife. In the past, GOCO grants have helped pay for additions to Fort Collins’ paved trail system.

The public is invited to help set funding priorities for the next five to 10 years for Colorado’s parks, trails, wildlife, rivers and open spaces, according to a news release.
